Practical assessment
based upon the following modules, Beading, Boarding,
Floating, Setting, ( re the skimming you will be assessed on
the quality of the finish, the bead area, cleanliness, cutting
back, skirt area), coving, floor screeding.
note: the plastering assessments are strict and people do fall
short of the standards, so ensure you complete your pre course
training, ensure you pay attention to the demonstrations then
you will have no problems.
Examination note:
for those who are attending the 5 day or 2 week internal
plastering course and
would like certification you should bring your
completed examination papers with you on the
first day or send prior to attending by email to exams@goldtrowel.org

The Production and training will give you the knowledge and skills to
plaster your home or that of your customers if you wish to
become a professional plasterer, the course is prepared at a
higher level than the City
and Guilds 6217 plastering course
As a professional plasterer you would expect to earn a
minimum of plus 50k per annum working from a home based office
with very low overheads,!
we offer 3 films of solid plastering and a big training manual to
help you become a professional certified plasterer or even to help you with your
own projects
as an added bonus you have a film
and training course available on the subject
of pebbledashing and flat rendering to take your skills into a
slightly different direction if required
