Plastering - City & Guilds 6217
Goldtrowel offers a fantastic
opportunity for all those personnel wishing to gain their City & Guilds
Qualification in Solid Plastering. The course is for 6 weeks, which are
`hands on` and intense, during the course you will build your portfolio,
which consists of 15 units (listed below) each unit of accreditation are
assessed, you cover all 15 units at Goldtrowel because we believe as a
plasterer you should be competent in all aspects of plastering, unlike
other providers who only teach the 7 mandatory and 2 optional units, your
City & Guilds certificate through Goldtrowel will list all 15 units
achieved.
You can train for 6 consecutive weeks, divide your weeks or even
incorporate some weekend training if you have other commitments, Our Course
structure is without doubt the best there is available. We have dedicated,
Professional, motivated A1 Assessors and Verifiers / Instructors, who pride
themselves in delivering this Credible Qualification.
All Units of Accreditation are held at Goldtrowel. We take great pride in

- 066 - Applying a floating coat to
wall and attached pier

- 068 - Applying a floating coat to a
square or rectangular column
- 069 - Applying a floating finishing
coat to a square or rectangular column
- 070 - Scrim and skim finish with
plaster

floor from a given level of datum point
- 018 - Introduction to fixing floor
tiles and skirting tiles
- 071 - Applying a textured finish
with border
- 072 - Re-plaster over textured
ceiling using bonding agent
- 073 - Applying a plain rendering and
finish with a wood float
- 074 - Applying a Tyrolean hand
machine finish to a prepared wall
- 075 - Fixing bell cast bead and
applying scratch coats to wall areas
- 076 - Applying pebble dash finish to
a prepared wall
