the examinations would best be completed and returned prior to or on the
first day of the practical course, this
will allow for examinations to be processed, the owe ness of
responsibility is upon the student to complete and return the completed
examination within due time

the home study part of the course is self paced home study that will take some
longer than others not due to any one persons ability to learn faster than
another's but more perhaps upon different home life responsibilities. someone
with ample time could complete the course within a few weeks having read the
book from cover to cover and studied the films at the same time as practicing the
different scenarios
we do not cover online examinations although you can download the
examinations and print off the exams, then its a simple matter of
returning the completed exam papers to us
you can send your completed examination by email or bring with you on the
first day of the course.

the Goldtrowel certification is highly regarded and recognised, more so now
as the membership has increased with many large organisations sending there
employees to be retrained at goldtrowel, unlike other
examination bodies Goldtrowel examinations are produced by and monitored by
qualified and experienced advanced plasterers with worldwide experience,
all of whom carry Goldtrowel certification among the resume
at this time 2003-2004 a good plasterer should earn a minimum of £200.00 per
day on a day rate, we recommend that a Goldtrowel certified plasterer NOT work
for less. As a self employed plasterer who then runs his own home based business
he should command a minimum of £300.00 per day, bearing in mind this figure
would have many outgoings such as liability and other insurances/running costs
the work can be physically demanding and sometimes mentally exhausting, you
will have to be fit and have strength plus endurance, after some experience your
plastering speed will increase without compromise to the quality of your work,
there are many ways to make plastering less strenuous such as planning your day,
more tips and hints with the course
