the 2 or 3 week City & Guilds NVQ plastering courses can be split over open dates
the only training center in the UK with life size ceilings and walls up to 5 metres long

Week 1

GCA under full instruction preceded with practical in-depth demos

week 1 £470
Monday after your initial induction we move straight on to mechanical fixing of plasterboards fixing ceilings and taping the joins, use of hawk and trowel practice then skimming in the afternoon after demos. plasterboardingplastering course skimmingnvq plastering course

Week 2

AGCA under instruction with practical demos and Assessments for level 2

Week 3

your NVQ level 2 plastering course incorporates Assessments, estimating, pricing and portfolio building

 weeks 1 2 and 3 £960
Induction, at the beginning of this NVQ plastering course you will be supplied with yours to keep a
FREE Marshalltown 13 inch stainless steel trowel and a 13 inch pro hawk
you will survey your allocated room for materials required to completely plaster the ceiling and walls for your customer, this will incorporate boarding the ceiling and direct bond as well as beading and floating walls, plus fix ornate cornice and center piece, then finish the room with a flat and level floor screed. you will price this job at an average rate given for labour costs and material costs.
you will then carry out this work to and above the required industry standards working clean and efficiently
you will be assessed throughout for every unit completed.
confidence building estimating exercises with standard terms and conditions of contracts and samples of original estimates supplied.
portfolio building, you will be supplied with a ring binder for your NVQ
and together you will start to complete your portfolio with one of the Goldtrowel CITB NVQ assessors.
free time is given to students to work on any mandatory or non mandatory unit(s) that the student would benefit from further training and instruction
